a bit about me:
I am professor of Archaeology at Jahangirnagar University. Born in Kurigram in 1964, he did his B.A (Hon’s) in History at Jahangirnagar University and M.A. in Arachaeology. He completed his PhD at Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Pune, India and has been awarded a Post-Doctoral Visiting Fellowship at University College London. Professor Rahman is the member of many national and international professional associations, participating in various seminars and workshops at home and abroad. He has over 50 research articles and four books in his credit. His book ‘Wari-Bateshwar: Shekorer Shondhane’ has won the Prothom Alo Best Book of the Year 1418 Award. He has been conducting excavation at Wari-Bateshwar since 2000 and at Virampur since 2010.
